Driving safety is a crucial aspect for every company. Safe driving decreases insurance costs and promotes the corporate social responsibility in an elegant and kind manner for the society and the environment.
NAVARCHOS supports all driver violation alerts collected from GPS modules such as high speed, high RPM, hard braking, hard cornering, hard braking, hard acceleration and quick lane changes.
NAVARCHOS features a novel algorithm for driving safety assessment. Beyond the aforementioned driver violation alerts, NAVARCHOS algorithm takes into account the total distance covered and the total duration of trips in order to compute a penalty score for each driver.
All drivers are ranked according to their penalty score. The ranking reflects the driver’s safety performance. According to their penalty score, drivers are also grouped into three categories:
- green (<50) which represents drivers with safe driving behavior,
- orange (50-100) which represents drivers with driving behavior that can be improved,
- red (>100) which represents drivers with dangerous driving behavior.
Additionally, NAVARCHOS supports more than 50 charts (for example for each specific violation over a selected period) for investigating the safety performance of each driver in more detail.
Moreover, the system supports more than 50 charts for monitoring the driving safety progress of each driver.
Last by not least, driving safety data are fed into a behavioral analyzer that investigates driver performance metrics and provides useful actionable recommendations.
