Analytics and Insights reveal the hidden information behind the data and propose a widen view of the behavior and the performance of drivers and vehicles.
NAVARCHOS involves more than 140 charts which reveal the eco and safety driving behavior of each individual driver. More specifically, driver behavior is observed across a variety of parameters such as fuel efficiency, distance covered, travel time, safety alerts and others. Behavioral analysis is performed for investigating driver performance and providing recommendations.
NAVARCHOS automatically detects points of interest (POI) for each driver using well-known density-based spatial clustering algorithms. For each automatically detected or manually inserted POI, a number of analytics are calculated such as (a) histogram of the time of arrival at each POI, (b) histogram of the day of arrival at each POI, and (c) histogram of stop duration at each POI. Furthermore, the most visited POI and the POI where each driver spent the longest time on are evaluated and presented for further investigation and analysis.
Additionally, actual distance covered vs optimal distance is computed and compared to reveal waste of travel time, fuel, money on frequent maintenance service and increased emissions into the atmosphere. Distance covered within working and non-working hours are also compared for internal business purposes.
